Voltage Drop Cable Chart
Cable Size Recommendation for Pumps
A voltage drop chart for cables is used to determine how much voltage is lost due to resistance as electricity travels through a wire. This is particularly important for long cable runs to ensure that the voltage at the load end is sufficient for the equipment to function properly.

| Max volt drop allowed is 2.5% which is 6v at 230v e.g. 1.1kW single phase motor on 150m of cable will need 10mm cable, the maximum run on 10mm is 190m. | ||||||
